UMTIZA ~ showcasing the boundless creativity and collective talent of the greater Eastern Cape. The Umtiza Art Festival is a 7-year-old local art festival that is held in the Buffalo City Metro area since 2016. The festival was instituted by the Guild Theatre, East London Museum, and the Ann Bryant Art Gallery and through the existing asset base and infrastructure, the festival is founded upon world-class facilities to host artists and meaningful productions. The festival focuses on bringing quality productions to the East London theatre stages, hosting class art exhibitions, and presenting educational research works (history, science and environmental) for the community. The Ann Bryant Art Gallery would like to invite all Eastern Cape artists to participate in an Art Exhibition to be held at the Ann Bryant Art Gallery during the Umtiza Festival from 24 May to 10 June 2024.

Every year, on the East London Fine Art Society’s Annual Exhibition Calendar shows the date of the established “Anything but Painting” exhibition.
The East London Fine Art Society invites artists to submit their artwork on the theme “Anything but Painting” which can be woodwork, beadwork, leatherwork, sculpture, needlework, or simply anything where painting is not the dominant media.
Please submit your work on or before Wednesday 8th May 2024 cut off time 3pm.. The exhibition will be opened at the Coach House of the Ann Bryant Art Gallery, East London at 18h00 for 18h30 on Friday 24th May 2024 and will conclude Monday 10th June 2024 at 12:00 noon.

Just to clarify the submission requirements for CVD Framers upcoming exhibition : "Women in Art"
We invite all female artists to submit their Artworks.
"Art by Women" qualifies the ladies immediately, regardless of the composition of the work.
"Art for Women" may assist in offering inspiration for new works being designed & created.
Our male co artists are especially welcomed to submit their Artworks if their themes or images depict the female form or are loosely directed around "Art for Women"
We will be Opening the exhibition on 26th April 2024. Your work will be on show until early July.
We are expecting to hold an Official Opening evening on the 25th/26th, so please communicate with us well before this:
