East London Fine Art Society Peep Show Exhibition
The Peep Show is an exhibition of works in miniature
Miniatures often have a jewel-like quality to the finished work.
The painting of minute intricacies and the use of delicate and detailed painting techniques are features of these artworks.
East London Fine Art Society Annual Exhibition
The East London Fine Art Society will be opening their Annual Exhibition in the main gallery of the Ann Bryant on Friday 29 November 2024 at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
CALL FOR ENTRIES Entries are invited from artists.
A maximum of six artworks per artist are allowed and there are no restrictions on the theme, size or media. Entries must be submitted on or before Monday 18th November 2024 at the Ann Bryant Art Gallery. The Exhibition will open on Friday 29th November 2024 at 6:30 p.m. Exhibition concludes Saturday 14 December 2024.
East London Fine Art Society
Formed in November 1925, and after 1946, when the Ann Bryant Art Gallery was established, the society played a meaningful role in gathering art to bolster the bequest by Mrs Ann Bryant, purchasing a number of artworks for the collection over the years. At present the society has 90 paid up members, and is affiliated to the South African National Association for the Visual Arts, S.A.N.A.V.A. The society holds an annual exhibition of members’ work in the Gallery, as well as a Peep Show, of miniature paintings, and Anything but Paint exhibition.
