New webpage and changes Dear Leon I sensed when I first met you that you were a visionary - congratulations on a fabulous website for the gallery as well as providing such lovely opportunities for visitors and artists as well. It really has made my day. Well done and may East London and surrounds flourish, sing and enjoy their achievements with great publicity and self confidence. Eastern Cape artists are not as close to the media as those in Gauteng and really, they are just as good artists. Good luck to Greg Schultz as well with his show. Thanks! Help Needed To Whom it may concern Hi, I have some artwork of my own, but all are digital art. I would like to redo them on canvas and sell my work world wide. Please let me know how to go about doing this. Also, if possible I would like a female artist to redo my art on canvas(Reason Being: females express more emotion) , please let me know of any artists interested. How well does digital art do in the art world? Any help and information would be much appreciated. Thank You. Kind Regards Submitted By: Zahir

exhibiting my art Dear Leon We met at the Ann Bryant Art Gallery with the opening of the Mosaic Exhibition. You suggested that I email you with some photos of my art work. I have included photos of my Dads work as well because I would like to exhibit with him if it is possible. I was born in Pretoria and grew up there. I met and married Philip Howarth in Pretoria and we moved to Stutterheim where both our boys were born. We then moved to Queenstown where I discovered an ability to paint in oils. I was invited onto a painting course with Bob McKenzie and have never looked back. Since then I have exhibited at festivals and Art Exhibitions. Here are just some of my paintings up for sale. At the water hole. Oil on Board 900×450 mm Deidré Howarth Yacht on the water. Oil on canvas 600×450 mm Deidré Howarth After rain at corner café Oil on board 600× 450 mm Deidré Howarth Old farm Yard Oil on board 600× 450 mm Deidré Howarth Riding on the Beach 1020×

Wedding Reception Good Day, I am a former East Londoner, currently residing in Johannesburg and since visiting your gallery in my youth, I have been fascinated with your beautiful building and gorgeous garden. I am planning on getting married next year, April 2011. Kindly advise if by any chance you are able to allow for a reception to take place there. If not at least for my photographs and cocktails to be available on your grounds. I look forward to your response. Melissa Submitted By: Melissa Calverley
